Otis Carey is an An Aboriginal artist and professional surfer who grew up on the NSW Mid North Coast near Coffs Harbour. Otis rode this board at the 2017 Australian Indigenous Surfing Titles Bells Beach, and going one better by winning the event. His Aboriginal Art focuses on the concept of connection to country, as well as drawing inspiration in the ocean. Australia leading advocates for Indigenous people, it all comes back, he laughs and growing up in a big Aboriginal family where everyone helps each other.
