The legendary Aussie surfer Taj Burrow road this pixel surfboard at the 2012 Quicksilver Pro Gold Coast. In conditions at Snapper Rocks that included crumbly overhead waves Taj's power, flow and acing critical sections. Taj muscled his way past big names on final day including Ace Buchan and Jordy Smith. He drew upon the local Aussie support at snapper to overcome the high flying Brazilian Adriano De Souza in the final with a 15.86 heat total to De Souza's 15.60.
