Surfer
In 2003, Layne Beachley won her sixth consecutive world professional surfing championship, a stunning achievement unmatched by any other person in more than 40 years of pro surfing history. This is one of the boards that helped her accomplish the feat that year. The 31-year-old clinched the 2003 title when she won through to the final of the season ending tour event in Hawaii. Outside of the water Layne was also a pioneering female big wave surfer and served as a board member of pro surfing throughout her competitive career.
